We were delighted to host the Sion ‘Old Girls’ who had their annual reunion in our centre on Saturday 5th November.  The big red brick building next to our present house was our Sion School from the 1890s until the school amalgamated with Cardinal Manning School in the 1970s, creating the new Sion Manning School.  The school moved to new premises, and the old house was then converted to flats.  The Old Girls association meet every year.  It is  a delight to hear them talk about their happy days at school, and to renew their friendships.
