Sunday 31st January 2016   On this Sunday afternoon a large group gathered to reflect on and discuss the new document from the Vatican on Catholic Jewish Relations : ‘The Gifts and the Calling of God are Irrevocable’ (Romans 11 : 29).  The afternoon was led by our Jewish friend Jonathan Gorsky, lecturer in Jewish Studies at Heythrop College, who spoke the the significance and importance of this document for Catholic Jewish Relations.  The subjects explored in the document include Mission, Salvation, the unique relationship between Jewish and Christians.  It is a document that needs to be read again and again to really appreciate its full impact on Jewish Christian Dialogue.
