To Heal the World : the Role of Mercy.

Dr Gemma Simmonds gave us an fascinating paper on Mercy,  taking inspiration from Scripture and literature, particularly Shakespeare.  This was followed by a lively ‘conversation’ about  Mercy from a Jewish and Christian perspective between Sr Gemma and Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg.  Towards the end  the audience were invited to join the discussion with  questions or comments.  The large crowd which had gathered for the evening were united in their appreciation of this very special event.
